A complete brand system built to move Epicor from legacy ERP to modern AI partner

Pre-Feral, in-house work by Fer Ledesma at Epicor Software.

"Fer is a tireless brand champion and empathetic leader who takes creative to new heights. An innovative, big-picture thinker who never loses sight of the details."

A full design system built from strategic rationale through execution-ready assets, presented to and approved by the CMO, VP of Digital, and Head of Global PR.

The Situation

In 2025, Epicor set out to shift how the market saw it: from a legacy ERP provider to a modern, AI-enabled technology partner. The existing visual language was established, but dated. It no longer reflected what Epicor actually was, an AI-infused, people-centric platform powering the global supply chain.

The brief was demanding on every axis. The evolved brand had to work across a global, multichannel organization, meet modern accessibility standards, and read as genuinely current rather than a surface refresh.

What was needed

The gap wasn't a styling problem. It was a truth problem.

Epicor’s product reality had moved well past what its brand was saying. Closing that gap meant building a design language flexible enough to carry the company’s actual scale and complexity, not just a new coat of paint on the same system.

What was built

Fer led the full creative development end to end, from strategic rationale to execution-ready assets, working with the Global Brand Lead and stakeholders across Product Marketing, Web, and Demand Generation.

The work included:

  • Four core design principles: Consistent Flexibility, Accessibility, Boldness, and Minimalism, anchoring every creative decision in the system
  • Continuum, a new design expression built around intelligent movement and infinite transformation, evolving the existing Agility Index capsule brand into a complete, scalable system
  • A full design system: typography, color strategy, iconography, graphic elements, photography guidelines, data visualization, infographics, and animation
  • Dark and light mode variants across every component, built for accessibility and digital-first flexibility
  • Applied usage examples across print ads, digital ads, events, collateral, leadership communications, and web, including a fully interactive web prototype

What happened

The brand evolution was developed through full concept and approval, presented to and signed off by the CMO, VP of Digital, and Head of Global PR. Launch was postponed pending internal prioritization, so the system hasn’t shipped publicly yet. We still wanted to share this so you could see Fer’s capabilities and what she can do for your business.

Why it matters now

We build brand systems meant to be lived in for years, not admired once and shelved.
